I attended an event for International Women's Day at the Hunter Medical Research institute (HMRI) which involved an informal discussion  followed by a Q&A session. The HMRI Director, Professor Frances Kay-Lambkin and PhD researcher Vladimira Foteva unpacked the challenges that women face in science. They discussed how things can change for the better, speak about where to go to for support, and much more!
