At the event, Aunty Amy (Creighton) presented on Culturally Safe Research and asked researchers to reflect on how their personal and professional behaviours regarding First Nations peoples may influence their research practices. We also got to witness the unveiling of an artwork created by Leo Dynevor and the HMRI community. Afterwards, I participated in a discussion with several academics around how cultural safety can be achieved in research.
