It was a privilege to perform the Acknowledgement of Country for this National Science Week Celebration with Dr Karl from the University of Sydney. I had the opportunity to acknowledge the traditional custodians of these lands, the Worimi and Awabakal people, and recognised their continued connection to the lands and waters.
Dr Karl shared what he loves about science and his personal journey, from presenting on ABC's Double J to being named a National Living Treasure. He also answered science questions about the mysteries of the world.
Dr Karl's enthusiasm for science was infectious and he believes that anyone can be a scientist, even in their own backyard. It was a great opportunity for science enthusiasts to learn from one of Australia's best scientific minds.
